I have been injured in an accident, what should I do?

We cannot emphasize enough the importance of medical care after a disabling personal injury. Some bodily injury victims are reluctant to visit a doctor. They may feel embarrassed, may fear burdensome medical bills, or may simply have a general aversion to medical treatment. The value of the case, however, depends in large part on the client’s obtaining proper medical attention.

Next it is important to document everything you remember from the day of the incident that caused your injury. We generally tell our clients to maintain a journal with dates, times, facts and names of potential witnesses. If you were in an auto accident take pictures of the scene as conditions may change.
